A Call to Trust the Lord

I come to encourage those who are in a season of brokenness. I want you to know that God has not forsaken you. He has not forgotten about you. He sees your tears and feels the pain in your heart. He wants you to know that He performs His best work in the hearts of the broken. Remember Hannah, who was barren and could not conceive a child, but in her season of brokenness, she cried out to the Lord from her anguish, and He heard her and answered her prayer. (1 Samuel 1:1-9)

Look at the life of Joseph, who was betrayed by his brothers, then falsely accused of attempted rape by Potiphar’s wife; and was put in prison. However, in his place of brokenness, God blessed him by giving him favor with the Wardon of the prison, then releasing him to become the second highest ranking official in all of Egypt. (Genesis 39 –41)

These are just a few stories of how the people of God benefitted from being in their season of being broken. Whether it’s betrayal, injustice, being barren, hopelessness, loss of a loved one, disappointment, or sickness, know that you are in a perfect position for the Lord to bless and or elevate you for His Glory.

Isaiah 43:1-2 says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are Mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I AM the Lord, your God; the Holy One of Israel, Your Savior. You are honored and I love you.
